This recipe is as easy as it can get! That is why we created the Hainanese Chicken Rice Powder - to allow you to recreate this dish for your children! It's salt-free so my 21-month-old could eat this, even for my 6-year-old, we merely added the sticky dark soya sauce as she finds it fun, and the adults paired with some garlicky chilli. This was a hit with the adults and kids, especially the unassuming pickled cucumber that whet up the appetite. We enjoyed how the grated ginger removed the beefy smell, and the whole dish was appetizing but not oily. With the rainy season coming on and off, the aroma of the ginger also brought much warmth to our taste buds.

Dinner was a hit with the kids! Sarah found it a little bland so she went ahead to sprinkle some Kombu Powder on her rice and had fun feeding her little brother while eating. Silas especially loved the corn. 😍 And I also realized these are the vegetables that she doesn't enjoy eating. 😂 Passed the test!
